Yes. During public beta you can open a free cloud POS store for shops in Nepal with no platform subscription fee from DGC POS. Planned NPR plans are Starter Rs. 2,999/month, Business Rs. 7,999/month, and Enterprise custom — published and charged only after Terms update.

Does DGC POS support Nepal payments like eSewa and QR?

DGC POS supports cash, card, QR, and eSewa-style checkout flows at the register. Customer payment methods depend on what you enable for your shop; platform billing stays off during beta.

Can I use DGC POS offline in Nepal?

Yes. Billing can continue offline and sales sync when your connection returns — useful for areas with intermittent internet.

DGC Bazaar is the Nepal marketplace linked to DGC POS. Merchants list live inventory from POS; shoppers browse products with COD-friendly local commerce.

1. Two products — clear split

DGC POS Community (open source) — self-hostable retail POS. Source is public on GitHub under AGPL-3.0. You may inspect, self-host, and contribute under that license.
DGC POS Cloud (hosted) — the managed service at app.dgcpos.com. Free during public beta, governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Cloud platform code is not published as open source.

3. What “free cloud” means (beta)

Online payment gateways may be limited during beta. Always check current checkout options in the app. Do not assume live eSewa, Stripe, or other rails unless enabled for your workspace.

4. DGC POS Pro (future)

Advanced commercial features may later be offered as DGC POS Pro (paid) on the Cloud product. Pricing and terms will be published before any charges apply. Community remains available for self-host under its open-source license.

5. Contributions

Bug reports and pull requests to the Community repository are welcome under that repo’s contribution guidelines. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, contributions may be used to improve DGC POS products as described in our Terms.
