DGC POS — POS Smart Solution is a cloud-based software platform, offered free during public beta. No platform subscription fees are charged by us during public beta. Paid DGC POS Pro plans may be introduced later. The Service is operated under the DGC POS trade name. Formal company name, registered address, and registration number will be published on this site when registration is complete.

DGC POS uses a dual model: (1) DGC POS Community — open-source, self-hostable POS published on GitHub under an explicit open-source license; and (2) DGC POS Cloud — the hosted product at app.dgcpos.com, which is proprietary managed software governed by our Terms of Use. Free cloud access during public beta is not the same as open-sourcing the entire cloud platform. Paid DGC POS Pro may be offered later for advanced features.

This page explains how to request deletion of an account on DGC POS cloud services (including the Android apps DGC POS, DGCPOS.COM, and DGC Bazaar).

1. What gets deleted

When we complete a verified account-deletion request, we delete or de-identify:

Your login identity (email / phone used to sign in)
Profile and business account settings tied to that user
Personal data we hold as controller for that account

We may retain limited records where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business retention (for example transaction records a shop must keep). See our Privacy Policy.

2. How to request deletion (web / email)

Send an email from the same email address registered on your account to privacy@dgcpos.com or support@dgcpos.com (also: sales.dgcollection@gmail.com).
Subject line: Account deletion request
Include: full name, business / store name (if any), app used (DGC POS / DGCPOS.COM / DGC Bazaar), and the country of your account.
We will verify ownership of the account, then process the request. Typical target: within 30 days of verification (sooner when possible).

3. In-app path (when signed in)

DGC POS / DGCPOS.COM (app.dgcpos.com): open Settings → Security → Delete account, type DELETE, confirm with password.
DGC Bazaar (dgcbazaar.com): open Profile → Settings → Delete account(or Privacy & security), type DELETE, confirm.

You can also email us from your registered address as described above if you cannot sign in.

4. What you should do before deleting

Export or back up any sales / inventory records you need for your business or taxes.
Cancel any paid plans you may have (when Pro billing is active) before deletion.
Transfer store ownership to another admin if other staff still need the shop.
